Comprehensive Insurance is included in the tariff.
Mileage Allowance
150 miles free per day (24 hour period) is included in the tariff. Additional miles will be charged at £0.20 per mile
Breakdown Assistance
24-hour breakdown service is provided, which is included in the tariff.
VAT
Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the tariff.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection can be arranged at an additional charge.
Use outside the UK
The hirer must not take the car outside the UK
Documentation Requirements
All hirers at the time of hiring present
• a full UK driving licence
• a valid passport
• Two additional forms of ID which carries their address and not older than max 3 months old (e.g. bank statement, utility bill etc).
Drivers
only the hirer or other drivers approved by Knightsbridge Car Hire Ltd at the time of rental are permitted to drive the vehicle. An additional charge will be applied for more than one driver.
Age Limits
Minimum age limits apply to all our vehicles and the limits depend upon the vehicle type hired - see hire Tariff).
There is a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Driving Experience
The driving license must have been held for at least 24 months at the time of rental. Overseas visitors may present their own national driving license or an international driving license.
Endorsed driving licenses will be accepted at the discretion of City Inter-Rent.
Payment
Payment is only acceptable by major credit cards. At hire commencement, the estimated rental charge and the applicable refundable deposit will be required
Vehicle Availability
Every effort will be made to supply the make and model requested, however in the unlikely event that the specific vehicle is not available and alternative model of similar size or higher will be offered.
Deliveries or collections
A minimum charge of one days hire applies for cancelled deliveries and/or collections.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelling booking less than 48 hours prior to the proposed start of the hire you will be liable to pay a total of 50% of the agreed rental charge plus VAT
Termination Policy
At least two hours notification, within office hours, is required for vehicle terminations. The hirer is responsible for the safekeeping and well being of the vehicle until Knightsbridge Car Hire collects it. All costs relating to parking etc. whilst awaiting collection are the hirer's responsibility.
Late Returns
Vehicles returned later in the day than the time specified on the rental agreement are subject to an additional days hire charge.
Vehicle Refueling
All vehicles must be returned containing the same level of fuel it was released with. It is the hirer's responsibility for fuel used during delivery and/or collection. Petrol/diesel required to refuel cars to this level will incur a surcharge
Vehicle Damage
In the event that a vehicle is damaged whilst on hire, Knightsbridge Car Hire Ltd must be notified immediately. All repair costs and a loss of use charge will be applied until the vehicle is fully repaired and available for hire. The loss of use charge is the daily rate..
All rentals are subject to the full terms and conditions printed on the reverse side of the rental agreement.
